Moments. In motion.

A look inside Chilanka: the classes, the costumes, the rehearsals and the stage moments that make our dance family special.

Every photo carries a story of practice, tradition and joy.

From the first tentative steps of a young beginner to the confident expression of an experienced performer, our gallery follows every stage of the dance journey. You will find the quiet focus of rehearsal, the shimmer of silk and jewellery, and the happiness of sharing a stage with friends.

Classical Bharatanatyam and Mohiniyattam, lively folk pieces and children's classes all come together here, reflecting the colour and heritage that fill our studio in Brisbane.

Take your time exploring, and if something inspires you, we would love to welcome you to our next class.
